St Vincent De Paul Society

Welcome to the St Vincent de Paul Society of St Andrew’s at Marayong.

Our conference has 10 active members. Our meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, commencing at 7.00pm. We always welcome visitors and new members to our meetings.

Our house calls usually consist of us giving out food parcels, food vouchers, clothing/household goods requests and emergency assistance regarding furniture via SVdP stores.

We are blessed with the assistance we receive from our parish community, from the support of Msgr Ron and the parish staff to the generosity of the many parishioners who continually give donate money to our poor boxes or place food in our baskets at the main door of the church every week. This generosity allows us to depend less on the regional council for assistance.

The Society has a Winter Appeal and a Christmas Appeal every year and we appreciate the extra effort and support we receive at these times to enable us to cater to the greater demands that are placed on our members.
